Gail Sheehy, AARP Care giving Ambassador, has a great book out "New Passages: Mapping your life across time" its a sequel to "Passages", another great book. AARP has some very interesting articles about care giving.
This blog was created in part to fulfill my educational requirements but mainly to help others was well as myself deal with the day to day frustrations, anger and depression of taking care of my "aging adult" mother, who by normal society terms would be considered in prime age (60) however, her health would age her to at least (75). This will be my escape to vent, discuss and blog about my experience in order to help combat the anger and depression I feel by this responsibility. This will be a place for all in my situation to come and comment and not feel guilt or judgment.
